Many tourists pass through this beautiful city, and many leave their grain of sand - or rather, their grain of trash.
On Tuesday we had a morning cleaning session.
We started at Barceloneta beach and finished at the last beach in Bogatel. We collected 6 bags of rubbish, plastic, cans, cardboard and glass.
The harvesters were also there, doing their daily work, which made our job easier.
It's not a question of cleaning up the rubbish left by others, that doesn't solve anything. It's about building ourselves as an educated society where we respect the environment and at least collect the rubbish we generate.
All the trash we didn't see on the sand on Tuesday is now in the sea, damaging the ecosystem.
Gathering what we and our group of friends consume before leaving the place also helps!
